Ecuador: Dengue

According to Ecuador’s Ministry of Health, more than 1,800 cases of dengue fever, a significant increase over the average incidence, have been reported since January 2012, primarily from El Oro, Guayas, Los Rios, and Manabi provinces. Travelers are advised to practice daytime insect precautions.
