Update: H7N9: China

As of April 14, 2013 a total of 60 cases, including 13 deaths, of influenza A (H7N9) have been laboratory confirmed in mainland China.

The cases are spread over 6 provinces: Beijing (1 case, 0 deaths), Shanghai (24 cases, 9 deaths), Jiangsu (16 cases, 1 death), Zheijiang (15 cases, 2 deaths), Anhui ( 2 cases, 1 death) and Henan ( 2 cases, 0 deaths).

There is currently no known risk of human to human transmission.
