The Nova Travel and Immunization Clinic can help

image002

The immunizations provided at Victoria’s Nova Travel and Immunization clinic vary depending on:  Type of travel, previous immunization/medical history and length of trip.

You should consider booking an appointment with a travel health provider a minimum of 4-6 weeks prior to departure to determine whether you require any vaccinations or prescriptions prior to your trip.  Your local public health unit may be able to provide you with a list of your previous immunizations from school (records are usually kept until the age of 21).

Travel vaccinations are especially important if you travel to a rural area where vaccines may not be in supply.

Contact us to set up an appointment for consultation.   We also provide vaccines for preventative health concerns such as HPV and shingles as well as occupational vaccines.

There is a fee for most travel vaccines, and in some cases an administration fee may be charged.  Bring a record of all vaccines you have received in the past to the travel clinic if possible. It is important to keep a record of travel vaccines you receive and take this record with you on your trip.
