Civil Unrest: Kenya

With the March 4, 2013 presisdential elections, there have been violent incidents resulting in casualties, reported throughout Kenya. Additional security forces have been deployed.

Travellers are advised to monitor the situation through local media and to avoid crowds, demonstrations,  and polling stations.
