As an Infectious Disease specialist, Dr. Ghesquiere has a broad range of experience with both in-patient and out-patient infectious diseases and tropical medicine. All types of infections are seen and diagnostics and treatments are initiated. Patients with unknown infections as well as travel or tropical infections are also evaluated.
In addition to patient care, further interests include teaching medical residents and physicians, conference organizing and clinical research. Dr. Ghesquiere has practiced medicine in Victoria since 1989 and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Canadian Infectious Diseases Society, International Society of Travel Medicine and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. As Medical Director of Nova Travel Clinic, Dr. Ghesquiere works with the nursing team to provide the best possible advice and care.
