Russia:

A state of emergency in eastern Russia (Amurskaya OBlast and Jhabarovskiy Kray) has been declared due flooding as a result of heavy rain fall; residents have been evacuated.

Travellers are advised to monitor the situation through local media and to avoid affected areas; disruption of transportation should be expected.

Phillipines:

Flooding on the island of Luzon has resulted in casualties.  Travellers are advised to monitor the situation through local media and to avoid affected areas; disruption of transportation should be expected.
