Novel Corona Virus update

The novel corona virus, now MERS-Cov (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) has been identified in the following countries from:

France, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates.

Laboratory confirmed cases originated from the Middle East : Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

France, Germany, Tunisia and the United Kingdom reported cases that were either transferred for care of the disease or had travelled to the Middle East and became ill upon return.

The World Health Organization has not advised special screening points or travel or trade restrictions.
