Zika Virus confirmed in Cook Islands,French Polynesia and New Caledonia
There have been 18 confirmed cases and 40 suspected cases of Zika virus infection in Rarotonga and Aitutaki since Mar 11, 2014. An ongoing outbreak of Zika virus was first reported in October 2013 in French Polynesia. In January 2014 New Caledonia reported it’s first confirmed case. Easter Island has also reported it’s first locally acquired case….
