Demonstrations: Thailand and Ukraine

Thailand

Political demonstrations demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Shinawatra are occurring in parts Bangkok.  Travellers are advised to avoid large crowds, including demonstrations and should monitor the situation through local media.  Security forces have been implemented which has resulted in incidents of violence against protesters.

Ukraine

Demonstrations are occurring throughout Ukraine in response to the suspension of an agreement with the European Union.  Travellers are advised to avoid crowds and demonstrations and monitor the situation through local media.
