According to the United Nations, Cameroon has reported more than 20 suspected human cases of yellow fever in Nord Region since November 2011. Shoreland continues to recommend vaccination for all travelers over age 9 months.

There were two bombs detonated in a shopping area in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh ( India) on February 21, 2013. The bombs resulted in casualties, injuries and property damage. According to European heath authorities, on October 19th, 2012 the first case of rabies since 1987 was reported. The rabies was found in a red fox from the Western Macedonian Region in Northern Greece. Certain travellers are recommended to receive the rabies vaccination.
