Civil Unrest: Guinea

The upcoming legislative elections on May 12, 2013 in Guinea are resulting in violent demonstrations; casualities have been reported.  There is the possibility of further demonstrations.

Travellers are advised to monitor the situation through local media and avoid large crowds and demonstrations.
