Colombia: Dengue

According to Colombia’s Ministry of Health, more than 5,000 cases of dengue fever, a significant increase over the average incidence, have been reported since January 2012, primarily from Caqueta, Huila, Meta, Norte de Santender, Santender, Tolima, and Valle del Cauca departments. Travelers are advised to practice daytime insect precautions.
